Calling all young storytellers! Do you ever daydream about being a published author, or turning your everyday life into magical stories? Let’s turn them into a picture book! Over two weeks, you will work with published authors and illustrators to build an anthology of stories based on your very own community. You’ll engage in exciting field trips and community activities, learning exactly how to transform those real-world adventures into stories through professional writing and illustration techniques. The best part? Your work will be professionally published, followed by a real book launch in the fall! You will leave this camp as a published author, ready to take your creative skills to the next level. So grab your notebooks and sketchpads because your journey from imagination to the bookshelf starts here!
